Teacher: Miss Stephanie Colton. Young woman, plain but pretty. She is exhausted and pale from lack of food and fluids.

The 10′ × 10′ entryway has a wood plank with coat hangers on the right-hand side, and a collection of small 2′ × 2′ cubbies in a 5 × 3 pattern on the left-hand side. A doorway leads to the main 40′ × 20′ classroom area which has 7 rows of 3’ wide desks: 2 sets of 2 desks per row separated by a 5’ walking space (total of 28 desks). On the far wall across from the doorway is the teacher’s desk and a large black chalkboard on the wall. On the desk sits a copy of The Eclectic First Reader (1836), Summations, Multiplications, Inversions and Distribution by Sophia Englan (1877), and Pearson’s Guide to Mathematics Ed. 4 (1847). The Eclectic First Reader has a bookmark inserted at page 91, Lesson XXX The Snow Dog and Boy.
